Image description: "Mr. Dickens and His Carol," a novel by Samantha Silva. "A Charming, comic, and ultimately poignant story about the creation of the most famous Christmas tale ever written...I read it in a couple of ebullient, Christmassy gulps," a review by Anthony Doerr, #1 "New York Times" bestselling author of "All the Light We Cannot See." The book cover is a soft illustration of a gentleman with his back to the viewer, dressed in a dark plum colored suit jacket and top hat. He stares away over a blue-toned cobblestone road, into the background of a very foggy city in the distance. There is dark gold, flourishing border around the book cover.
