Image description: Book cover is primarily a coral pink background with bright blue title text. At the top of the page, in white text, reads, "#1 'New York Times' bestseller.' A gold-colored circle to the right and below the title has text which reads, "One of the 'New York Times' notable books of the year." Dark text to the left and below the title reads, "'An indelible heroine,' - The Washington Post," and "'Strikingly relevant...Darkly funny and poignant,' - The Atlantic." There is a pop-art-style portrait of a woman's face in the center of the cover. Her face is the same color as the background and has no outline. Her hair is dark with bright blonde detail lines, and there is a pencil sticking out of her high bun. She looks to the side of the cover. She has pink eyeshadow and lipstick a few shades darker than the background, and she is wearing sunglasses with the reflection of laboratory equipment in shades of blue.
