Quiet Study Room Policy

Any group/patron 14 years or older may use the Blackstone Public Library Quiet Study Rooms. These rooms are available for groups/individuals, and can be used for quiet study, group projects, and meetings.  Patrons using the Quiet Study Rooms must follow the library’s Behavior Policy. Failure to adhere to the Behavior Policy will result in the loss of room usage.

The rooms may be reserved up to one month in advance, for a two-hour period per day.  If no one else is waiting to use the room the patron may inquire at the circulation desk and re-register for another two hours. Exceptions may be facilitated through the Library Director.

A reserved room will be held for up to fifteen minutes after the reservation period begins before the room becomes available for another group/person to reserve.

Room Capacity:

Quiet Study #1            15 people maximum

Quiet Study #2            17 people maximum

No political campaigning is allowed in the Quiet Study Rooms.
